The manufacturing process specification for special-shaped wire drawing molds is based on the manufacturing process of convex and concave molds and related parts, as well as the content of mold assembly process. The purpose of formulating the mold process specification is to control the entire process of mold manufacturing, with three main control objectives.

(1) Control the manufacturing accuracy and quality of molds. Enterprises are required to develop a quality assurance and management system in accordance with the GB/T90 standard, so that the manufacturing process or process specifications of each mold produced are always under control. Develop technical requirements for mold acceptance as the basis for mold manufacturing accuracy and quality control

(2) Control the manufacturing cost of the mold. As a commodity mold, the total price and payment method of the mold paid by the user to the irregular wire drawing mold enterprise will be clearly stipulated in the relevant contract, so the total price of each set of molds is fixed. In this way, in order to reduce costs, clear requirements, arrangements, and controls must be made for the economic viability of the process specifications for mold component manufacturing.

(3) Control the planned progress of its manufacturing process to ensure the delivery time of the mold. The delivery date of the mold will be clearly specified in the user contract, and there will also be corresponding compensation clauses for failure to deliver on time. Therefore, controlling the time of each process and the planned progress of the process is a goal that must be controlled in the manufacturing process specification of irregular wire drawing molds.
